Greetings, Snowblind! My name is Kathryn and I'm new here, though not new to DWRP. I'm bringing on board a flesh golem (read: fantasy-world Frankenstein's monster) named Ecks (full application in case anyone cares). You can reach me at ![[plurk.com profile]](https://plurk.com/favicon.ico)

Appearance and behavior-wise, it's important to note that Ecks is a visibly patchwork creature, and that she does not intuitively alter her facial expression from its resting position nor modulate her tone of voice to reflect her moods. She can be expressive if she wants to, but it requires conscious effort and where she came from being unreadable was good for her health.
Ecks comes from a world that has served as the battleground for four evil gods for the past millennium. She was created by one of the servants of Vin, God of Madness, and served for a while as a spy and assassin. As she became capable of forming her own opinions, though, she decided that she didn't actually like the whole "sowing chaos through apparently random acts of violence" thing, and subsequently ran away from home. You can think of her as a sort of fleshy murder-robot that managed to develop feelings and is now on a personal quest to learn the definitions of right and wrong (she's even writing a book on the subject).
Ecks is a very bad judge of people and tends to prefer following orders over making her own decisions even though she's perfectly capable of disobedience. This is in no way a dangerous combination for a combat-trained character, and I foresee no negative consequences whatsoever. In all seriousness, she's not going to obey someone who tells her to violate one of her own rules unless they can give her a pretty good reason, but she's fairly open to being bossed around in general, so please feel free to let your characters notice and take advantage of that.
