snowblindooc | Hey let's talk to ghosts again

As all of you may have noticed in the search requests, the ghosts of Norfinbury have gotten awfully quiet. Concerned about how many houses have gone "dead" and what it means for the data collective, Stephen is going to host another town-wide seance similar to the one hosted by Will Graham back on IC night 320 (real life January 15, 2018). It'll be run in a similar fashion, so for reference:

The gist of it is that everyone who wants to participate will connect on the network at the same time, forming a sort of electronic grid across the town so ghosts that may still be tied to any one location can communicate with the group as a whole. Last time around the characters got in contact with the data collective; it turns out the ghosts of Norfinbury are a kind of digital hive mind. This time around we can assume it'll probably turn out badly because that's just how this game works, but I have no idea what that'll look like!

If your character(s) will participate, please comment here and let me know (I'll also do my best to answer any questions, though all I can really speak to is the IC logistics of setting it up.

I WILL STILL BE ON HIATUS but it'll be at the tail end of it and I want Alfie to do this, so if the mods approve him reviving on that night I'll definitely throw him in!

Gabriel will definitely be wanting to do this. He expects they're going to get nothing out of this, but they should still try!

I'm not sure if Gabriel will be in the bunker or not for it, but I figure that's something they can talk over IC.

So fair point, I don't actually know where Stephen is now, let alone where he will be. Would you be interested in him meeting up with Gabriel?

Yeah, if it turns out he's nearby. He'd like to see Stephen! And I must warn that Vanitas might also come, because apparently Gabriel isn't protecting himself too well. >_>

I figure the bunker's off-limits to setting up a good 'electrical network' with which to call the data collective, so he'd be willing to head out to a different building to try it (regardless of whether he meets up with Stephen for it or not). Or to be the one who tries it in the Bunker and probably gets less than nothing.

I think Stephen would be fine with Gabriel trying it out in the bunker just in case, but would advise him that it's very likely to go nowhere.

I don't know how available I'll be but I'll definitely try to do what I can, Enoch would be all over this.

I'm going to make sure everyone who replied saying their characters are in are on the list, so at a minimum Enoch will be counted among the participants!

Rhys will be interested and I *think* he'll be at the clinic in Res 3 (nearish the bunker) at that time, or somewhere close to it.

OOCly, the 31st is a Friday and I will be at work the entire day, and I have no idea what my schedule on Saturday will be like, so I'm not sure how much I could actively participate in the event itself. Might have to handwave his part, or something?

I'll make sure everyone who says they want their characters in it are on the list I submit to the mods/have a header on the log/etc. -- I can't speak to how things will shake out for the event, but we can definitely at a minimum say he's there doing the thing!

I'm in that "character's in, but I don't know where I am" boat with a few others. I did take that Friday off to make the long weekend longer, so I'll just have to hope I'm not getting dragged around anywhere offline.

Is she going to be participating from inside the bunker? She could try using Shadownet; otherwise she may not be able to connect to get in on the seance from inside there.
