He's a former military doctor, honorably discharged after a war wound sustained in Afghanistan. He's friendly, polite, maybe a little snarky, but nothing beyond the standard British sense of humor. Just a regular bloke.
Who also happens to have suffered from PTSD, a psychosomatic limp, has trust and anger issues, and might be a wee bit of an adrenaline junkie. But he's nice! Let's focus on the 'he's nice.'
