| Sometime in the early morning of day 274, everyone passes out. They will awaken suddenly to a sharp prick on one of their limbs, though they will be paralyzed and unable to move for fifteen minutes. During those fifteen minutes, symptoms slowly fade away: radiation poisoning vanishes as if it were never there, and the robotic lack of emotion fades as well. Everyone remembers everything they did during the event. Those who wandered robotically around will wake up where they were before they started wandering around and not where they wandered off to. If asked, those who wandered will describe their feelings as being completely blank, and those who attacked and killed people will recall the impulse as more akin to a reflex than an action that involved the brain at all. |
