ps: Because of the nature of his canon, if your character can figure out that he's a Star Wars character (he's relatively obscure and wasn't created until 2013) feel free to fourth wall. I'd prefer that he avoid huge canon spoilers/original trilogy plot summaries, though; finding out that there's only one Jedi left in the galaxy in a few years and it isn't him or his apprentice would be pretty bad for his mental health. ;'D
