Event: Lavender's Green, Part Two

LAVENDER'S GREEN

For a full day you remain in that single room without food or water. Very late at night, or perhaps very early in the morning, the footsteps go still and the pounding stops. At four in the morning on day 193, your tablet dies. One hour later, at five in the morning on day 193, a previously unseen door--north, south, east, or west, it doesn't matter--in your room slides open, revealing a dazzlingly disorienting perfectly white hallway. There's a small backpack sitting outside your room. It's not the one you're familiar with, but there's enough food and water in it for a couple of days. You should probably take it with you. The hallways are a baffling maze, all curves and circles with no edges to speak of, like trying to traverse a ball of yarn from the inside. This space must be very large--when you exit, there's no one near you. However, if you keep walking, you'll find the others. It's a large space, but it's one space. Of course, you may also find other things... As you tag around, you may, at random, get moderator NPC responses. These may be physically or mentally dangerous. They will not usually be deadly, but if a character pushes things too far, it's not outside the realm of possibility. Still, it would involve provocation on the character's behalf, and nothing will be immediately murderous. Please make sure to note in your top level somewhere which sort of eyes your character has! Hello. Will any markings (blood or food) made on the walls to help navigate the maze actually stick around? Or will they vanish as soon as they are out of view?

Do characters still feel the imposed fear from before?

Yes, though it's subsided a little.

What happens when a character kills another during the event?

Their corpse will remain in the labyrinth to potentially be found by others for the remainder of the event. They'll revive in a morgue afterward.

What are the ceilings like? Are there trapdoors, light fixtures, paneling or anything else that a clown could try pawing at?

They're completely featureless, like the walls and floors. It feels like they're made of plastic or metal.

If Stephen makes sparks again, will he get a similar response as before? Will it be different depending on what area he's in? For reference, it's most likely that I would have him do it in the outer hallways where he's hanging out with Dr. House, though I don't have firm plans yet and might do it in a different thread/area instead.

It will be different where he is! He will get a similar response in the outer hallways, but deeper inside it won't get a result.
