Early in the morning on day 273, @ADMIN makes an announcement: MN will re-synchronize today. Please go to a medical center if you are concerned. As for what that means, or as for the fact that the medical centers are all in a state of disrepair, @ADMIN has nothing to say about that. And, indeed, after between thirty minutes to an hour, it's clear the nanomachines that course through your veins aren't working to the best of their ability: everyone is struck with the symptoms of mild to moderate radiation poisoning. It's not enough to kill anyone, but it's certainly not any fun at all. That's not all, though--some, but not all, in town will be struck with a second set of issues. Their senses play tricks on them, their eyes blur and their ears grow muffled, they see flashes of things that aren't there--but only for a few moments before things return to normal. Over the course of the morning, though, there is one thing that grows worse and worse for them: their emotions dull more and more until they don't feel anything at all. It probably won't get worse.

Are the second set of issues confined to a particular group of characters or just player discretion?

EDIT 1: Oh! And does the Geiger App read anything different about the surroundings than usual during this exciting new event?

EDIT 2: And just to clarify, the only ones losing their emotions are the ones in the second group who are experiencing the other symptoms, yes?

which symptoms can we pick, and which are mandatory? is it the radiation sickness that everybody feels, and then we can pick whether or not they get the weird auditory/sensory glitches + the emotion dulling?

Everyone feels radiation sickness, and you can choose if you want the glitches and emotion issues.

Will Sylar's extra MN procedure be affected by any of this at all? Or will it cause anything different to happen? Also, please assume that Sylar texts the Admin a few times to basically ask the same thing (I know there's no response, but still).

So what general source do the hallucination flashes have? Do they seem to draw more from the victim's mind, like things they've experienced, things they kind of expect to see, or things they might dream about; or do they have some other theme? Or is it entirely up to player discretion?

Also does choosing one group or another (extra symptoms or not?) require more active participation in later parts of the event? I don't know what my internet status will be in the next few days.
