By morning 341, the red marks on those who have them has entirely covered their bodies. It's only now when a distinction between those who jumped in of their own free will and those who fell or were pushed in appears: those who jumped in have their eyes inked over entirely in the same red that covers their bodies. Even though it looks as if it should cause problems, there is no hinderence to vision. Nothing else happens to anyone with markings. Those who don't have markings, however, are stricken with increasing, perhaps irrational, paranoia. Something must be happening. Something is definitely happening. The urge to quarantine and mistrust those who have any sort of red marks grows as the day goes on. Those with red covering their eyes are the most suspect, of course, but what about the others? They might be dangerous, too. Something always happens, right? Yeah, something always happens. These characters will not be able to be convinced that they are the ones suffering strange effects, at least for the moment. This part of the event lasts throughout day 341. |
