Consolidation Theory
On morning 353, those still marked with red lines on their body wake up in a cage. Okay, it's a bit more elaborate than that--it's a cell, all white polished surfaces and a barrier of blue-tinged energy keeping you in. There's a small bathroom (no shower, sorry) you can use to get some minimal amount of privacy, but for the most part you're exposed to everyone else. Right, you're not alone--everyone is in their own little cell, identical to yours except for where it sits in the room. You can't quite see everyone, since you can't see into the cells next to you or farther down the line, but you can hear everyone.

Robert Miller's voice comes over some unseen speaker: "Something is wrong with all of you. I'm going to fix it. You'll stay here for now."

Unfortunately, for those thinking of making a daring escape, you don't have any of your things with you. Even your clothing has been replaced with a plain white jumpsuit that may be just a little too tight for comfort, though the material is thick enough to prevent any real embarrassment. Maybe you should just talk to each other for now.

As for everyone left in town? Well, it's just another mysterious disappearance. This is almost standard procedure! Don't worry, though, it won't last long...

If you play a character who is not already in the cells and would like to participate in an extra part of the event, please reply here by 10PM EST on April 24! Make sure to have your squick lists updated if necessary. We may not have space for everyone who signs up, but we'll try to get as many people involved as we can. If you play someone who is already in the cells, you can reply to the sign-up, but note that if we have too many people sign up, we'll start by removing people who already have characters in this part of the event.

ACTIVITY CHECK

It's activity check time! In order to pass activity check, you need twenty comments across a maximum of four threads during this month. You also need to have posted to this month's HMD, so if you haven't done that, go ahead and do that now! If you wish to take a strike, you have to reply; anyone who doesn't reply at all will be put on the warned list and, if they don't reply to that, then be swept. Anyone currently on an officially posted hiatus is exempt from replying.

Additionally, some people will need to report their exposure effects. If you apped in during the most recent application cycle or presented us with an exposure effect last activity check, you do not have to do this. That's next month for you guys. And, of course, if your character's beacon is on, they're safe for a few months. To let us know about this, it has been included on the activity check form. If it's not relevant to you this month, you do not have to fill this section out.

You have until 11:59PM EST on April 28 to reply to this; after this, a warned list will go up and anyone who is on that list will have until the end of the month to reply to that with either activity or a request for a strike.

The following characters have outstanding strikes:

chaos ([personal profile] cosmicwords) - must pass April AC
Dio ([personal profile] myrmidowned) - must pass April AC
Gamora ([personal profile] alivingweapon) - must pass April AC and May AC
Jim Hawkins ([personal profile] rattlingthestars) - must pass April and May AC
Mina Murray ([personal profile] not_harker) - must pass April and May AC

To fill out your activity check, just fill out this form and reply to this post:
