AREA UNLOCKED
On day 368, the bunker opens for the first time in centuries.

Approaching the bunker door with a tablet on your person leads to the door creaking open, letting you and anyone else with you inside. The door closes behind you afterward, plunging you into darkness. Your tablet works as a flashlight, but if you look at it, you may notice something: it looks like its battery is slowly depleting...

The inside of the bunker is a unique environment. Being entirely enclosed, you'd think that it would be easy to explore, but instead, it's one of the most dangerous: most of the rooms are covered in foul-smelling, faintly glowing mold, and it's obvious this isn't a good environment to stick around in. The map is marked with red and green areas: you can stay in a green area safely, but a red area is covered in mold and unsafe. You can only travel through five red areas in one day, counting traveling back to a safe area. While there's no explicit warning, you feel worse and worse as you travel, so it's obvious something bad will happen if you keep going--and if you do try to keep going, you will suffer paralysis of the organs and a quick, painful death. Right now, there isn't much by way of safe areas, but you can't access every room right off--maybe there are more safe areas in places currently sealed off...

While in the bunker, your tablet's battery also runs down. It will last approximately 24 hours of use, though if you're doing a lot with it then it will run out faster. Additionally, you are cut off from the network entirely. No PMs, either. You can access anything you've downloaded to your tablet, though, and Winter's shadownet still works, though using that drains quite a bit of power. In order to recharge your tablet, you will have to be outside of the bunker.

As quickly becomes obvious, @ADMIN does not have access to the bunker. If someone dies inside, their body must be brought by someone else out into the rest of the town for collection before they can be revived. If this happens, @ADMIN will request this. If no one is willing to do this, @ADMIN will give the nearest available person a compulsion to retrieve the body and bring it outside.

Unrelated to the opening of the bunker, no new items will be placed in buildings from this point on. Food and rolling prescriptions are the only exceptions.

What is up, beautiful people! I’m World, and I’m fresh meat, here.

I’ll be bringing in Roland from the charmingly bizarre Ni no Kuni series. Roland is an old man who has been dumped into his young body in an effort to undo a nuclear apocalypse. Wait, isn’t that the plot of a different game-

Roland was the President of the United States when the bombs hit, and after waking up in purgatory and checking for wifi, he embarked on a quest to raise an orphaned child-king into a better ruler than he was. His sentence served, he was supposed to be sent back in time to fix his presidency, but now he’ll be stuck in a different sort of hell, and frustratingly, his cell phone still doesn’t get wifi.

Delighted to make your acquaintance! You can reach me at [plurk.com profile] worldres, or my discord, worldres#6489. I’ll be away until Tuesday, but I’m looking forward to meeting your characters. See you around soon!

Hey,

It's Omega (Junpei, osoroshia#9810, [plurk.com profile] numeiru, whatever), bringing in another jerk. But to keep things different, this one's not a nice guy underneath it all.

This time around I've got Xanxus, from Katekyo Hitman Reborn, and he even comes with a cute little cat!

He already sees you all as trash, which is good, because he's an incredibly skilled killer and you're not worth his time. Of course, your chances of interacting safely will get even higher when you realize he's.. pretty much a cat, too. All he wants is quiet, sleep, alone time, and your undivided attention 24/7 in case he wants you to prepare food for him to push onto the floor and look away from in disgust. Totally reasonable, right?

This game is the worst setting for someone who expects others to do everything for him, so I'm looking forward to whatever suffering comes of this! \o/
