Event: Thundersnow

THUNDERSNOW
In the darkness of the middle of the night, the low rumble of thunder can be heard far off in the distance. Lazily, the sounds drift in and out. It's possible to ignore them, or even to sleep through them, given how far away they are. But soon the wind picks up, the wind yowls, and the thunder rolls and tumbles over itself closer and closer until lightning and snow pour down upon Norfinbury. Thunder loud enough to rattle the windows of the houses crashes directly above, and it's possible to see lightning strike the tops of the taller buildings in town if you're watching out the window.

An advisory goes up--apparently even the administrator thinks it's too dangerous to travel. Of course, the doors are unlocked, so there's nothing technically stopping you. The blizzard pounds and shakes the door, though, pouring even more snow onto the town. As the blizzard continues, snow will eventually reach ten feet. Whatever was clearing the snow before, it seems even it doesn't want to be outside while this is going on.

Unfortunately, as the advisory mentioned, sometimes errors happen in this sort of weather. Cabin fever will immediately set in for everyone in Norfinbury. There's not much that can be done about it, unfortunately--you'll just have to wait it out.

It's probably a hallucination that, at night, those in buildings close to the school or the hospital can see the dim reflection of all the lights on.

When you say cabin fever will immediately set in, how rapidly will it progress? What severity will it reach? Do characters run the risk of entering the fugue state, where they will start losing memories and run out into the town without regard to the storm?

Will the doors still be locked during the night, but open during the day? Sorry, the event description is throwing me off.

Will the 10 feet of snow still be there on the morning of the 27th or has it been cleared away?

Is there anything preventing us from moving on to Day 27 things? Or should we be waiting for some kind of end-of-event announcement? Previous events don't seem to have one BUT they also contained information at the end of the event announcement for what to expect at the end. This one didn't, so...

Sorry to bother you. I just don't want to jump the gun if there's something more to this. Injections, or different road conditions, or whatever.
