Event: Lurking Superposition, End

LURKING SUPERPOSITION
On the morning of day 110, an hour before lockdown ends, everyone is awoken by a sharp pinch on their arms, quickly followed by complete paralysis. It's a familiar sensation to many, and they will remain paralyzed for fifteen minutes while the visions of alternate worlds fade away. Indeed, many of the memories blur and ripple away as well, with exact details becoming scarce and leaving only general feelings and confusion behind.

Meanwhile, Winter has something to say--an offer of programs, with a bit of a catch. She will not be involving herself in the discussion, but she has opened it up.

Question about how Brian's app works. The original mod description was this:

"When inserted, the tablet downloads an application and then shuts off for five seconds. When it turns back on, the application that it downloaded seems to have no name. It does have an icon, but it's only a solid red square.

Opening the application, a short pop-up message appears: "This can be used to restore old data to one used red SD card. It only works once!" This application does work as described: it can be used to restore an already used red SD card, and thus duplicate whatever it contained, but the app will only work once."

So it looks like originally this app was intended to be used with old SD cards to restore the data. Since there is no original SD card in this case, would Brian have to transfer his app to someone with one of Winter's programs on their tablet and have them copy the program onto a blank red SD card? Or is there some other method of operations we'd need to follow?
