BEAUTIFUL DREAMER

In dreams, it's difficult to tell, but it's near to midnight on night 117 when, through the thoughtless twitch of some lurking terror, a few dreamwalkers are thrown out into the murky depths of between dreams. You float, weightless, with only the sight of others around you to provide any sense of reality. It may take practice, but it is possible to move about here, and to interact with fellow dreamwalkers. But it's not long before something Other joins you... Each night, OOCly on May 16th, 19th, and 22nd, certain groups of characters, as assigned via the sign up post, will be flung out of their dreams or the dreams of others and sent to this strange between world. The posts, of which there will be one for each OOC day, will be mingle logs, where you can interact with everyone else in this less than a dream--but, of course, your other dreamwalkers will not be the only ones who interact with you... When NPCs interact, the interaction will leave with them some sort of unsettling side effect that will remain for the remainder of their stay in the dream (which they will remain in until they wake up in the morning) and for the remainder of the event. In the case of those in the May 19 and May 22 groups, the effects will linger for two IC days afterward. These effects will be mental, not physical. Still, maybe it's worth speaking to those who speak to you. Who knows what you might learn. Remember to only post to the logs your characters were assigned to! May 16 - Here! May 19 - Here! Question!

The interactions with each player individually - can those only be seen by that individual player, or can other people see/hear it if they are nearby? Also, can other players observe their companions' reactions?

Other people can see and hear them, as well as observe reactions!

When Character A is thrown out of their own dream, what happens to Character B who was dreamwalking in A's dream? And if Character A was thrown from B's dream, is there any sense that they're missing/something has happened to them/something is not right?

Either you can say that being thrown out of the dream happened after any other threads finish, or you can have them thrown out in the middle. In this case, the dream would fall apart, and anyone currently inside it would be shoved off into another dream.

for the may 19th/118 night group will the results linger for two IC days or just until the end of the event?

What, if anything, do characters have on them in the NPC dream? For example, if Alfie went to sleep wearing his coat and he had a weapon in the pocket, would the coat plus the weapon come with him, just the coat, or nothing at all?

The coat would come with him, but not the weapon! In general clothing/jewelry items would be there and anything that's attached to them and can't be removed, but not other items.

Gotcha! And I have a quick question about Alfie's aftereffects - if he hears his own voice (either when talking out loud or when listening to recordings he's previously made on the tablet), will it have the same effects?
