Event: Lavender's Blue; Part One
As day 180 cracks open its eyes, the snow and wind crash against the doors and windows, which shiver and rattle as they fight back the storm. You could open the doors if you wanted and venture outside, but you wouldn't last long. It seems like it's going to be a long day. In the morning, those who drew eyes on their bodies go blind. It lasts for ten minutes, and then sight returns. However, in a mirror and to anyone else, a change will be obvious: their eyes more closely resemble the symbols that are scattered around the town than they do real eyes, though they seem to work just fine. Those with programs sensitive to the symbols will find these eyes glow just like the others do. In the afternoon, those who removed the eyes will be subject to sharp pain starting in their stomachs and radiating outward. It lasts for ten minutes, and then the pain recedes. They will find their eyes glow now without the use of any sort of program to look through--they luminesce faintly in the eye color of the person sporting them. Those who were not there to draw or remove eyes may have either effect happen to them, though someone more sympathetic to the prophet is more likely to have the first effect and someone less sympathetic more likely to have the second effect. This choice will decide certain situations in other events. It doesn't seem like these strange eye enhancements are going away. It does, however, seem to be growing colder. You can't shake the feeling, as the cold crawls into your bones, that there's something that must be done soon... Part two will be posted on the day the event begins. |

(Until he removes it from someone's eye socket, I guess.)

- For those who removed eyes, is the pain they feel something constant as soon as it starts, just radiating further into their bodies? Or is it more like coming in waves?
- Is it just the iris that glows, or the entire eye?

2) The iris is the part that's actually glowing, though it's kind of hard to tell.

EDIT: Just realized Brian's special situation here--his mask would glow where his eyes are as well.
