Event: Spiritual; Sign Ups
| If your character is sensitive to the supernatural, can see ghosts/invisible fairies/spirits, can use magic, is very religiously devout, etc., and you will be participating in the event, please reply to this thread with the associated form filled out. This applies even if what your character can do is normal in their world--if they're a wizard in a world filled with them, they still apply! This is specifically related to sensing, being very close to, or manipulating the supernatural--those who might qualify as a supernatural creature but who don't consider themselves very spiritual or supernaturally-inclined would not apply here (for example, America from Hetalia). You can also sign up more than one character if you have more than one that qualifies. Sign ups run until 8PM EST on September 25. Note that this is for an extra part of the event--there will be other things going on that those who aren't spiritually inclined can participate in. If you're not sure if your character counts for this, just ask in the questions thread. |

Also the Joker...idk how he'd be. He is not religious and he can't use magic but he WAS magically imbued for a while and became a god with full control over the universe. He doesn't believe in anything but a part of him wants to believe in something and there are hints that he mysteriously believes there is a Heaven and a Hell (well, he's actually been to Hell and he's communed with Demons and the celestial entity called Specter but that's sort of a Thing where he's from).

Explain Why They Qualify: On top of the vampirism thing, in his canon Beckett is basically a Professor of Supernaturalthropology. Exploring supernatural shit is what he does. In Snowblind, his whole arc centres on a spiritual and religious crisis.

Explain Why They Qualify: In canon he's pretty much a supernatural creature. He's the darkness ripped out of a kid's heart. He used to be able to spawn off magical creatures and he could use magic himself.

Character Name: Peter
Explain Why They Qualify: Peter is a spiritually sensitive human that has crossed into the realm of magic so often that he's become part of it, walking the line between mortal and spirit himself. He isn't a full spirit, but he is considered a supernatural creature rather than a psychic or human with powers. He can usually see and manipulate the supernatural realm the way a full spiritual entity can. He punches demons (which are just any supernatural being that preys on humans) for fun and profit, so he'd probably qualify for supernatural-related things.

Explain Why They Qualify: She insists in-canon that she wasn't psychic, but seeing visions of the past/present/future in the clouds when you sleep is pretty damn mystical. A space player's role in particular is very mythological compared to the other aspects; they're responsible for creating a universe. And they're called god tiers for a reason.

Explain Why They Qualify: England has been friends with the magical creatures in his land ever since he was a child. He was still a regular practitioner of magic before he came to Norfinbury, and only stopped because he's physically unable to use his magic now. He's still a believer even though most of the other nations aren't, and he's able to see the supernatural where they cannot. It's said that the others would be able to see magical creatures if they travelled to England's country, though.

Explain Why They Qualify: Literally blessed and ludicrously devout? He is one of very, very few humans capable of actually seeing angels in his world, even other blessed/chosen people are lucky to just hear them when they aren't trying.

Explain Why They Qualify: Lehko is a magic caster in his world (a black mage), but also worships the goddess Altana like most inhabitants of Vana'diel. While not majorly devout, he is still spiritual and a believer in such. Also, in terms of mithran culture and religion, he's been branded a sinner, and while he has his issues with such ideologies, he was still raised under such cultural influences and beliefs.

Explain Why They Qualify: Kid is kind of a demigod..or god. Or whatever. It is sort of unclear. But his father is the god of death. Kid is also able to see souls. I can go on but I don't want to ramble!

Explain Why They Qualify: Kunsel is a SOLDIER, which comes part and parcel with a series of mako injections, stuff that's heavily tied in the with magic of his world. Under normal circumstances, he would be fully capable of directing that magic through materia to cast spells of various sorts, and that's not even going into the enhanced strength and reflexes that come with the package too. He's not necessarily a spiritual person, but magically/supernaturally inclined? Oh yes.

Explain Why They Qualify: She can sense witches and familiars via her soul egg. She's also zealous in her journey to break Madoka's eventual fate, and is basically turning Madoka into a god via the accumulation of alt timeline karma caused by her time traveling. Also she's a magical girl and aside from Madoka's case very heavily believes in magic and fate.

Explain Why They Qualify: Not only is Stein basically The Expert at soul perception/extremely sensitive to ghosts and spirits/someone who constantly uses his 6th sense in canon, he's also extremely religious and devoted to his god.

Explain Why They Qualify: He's a follower of a religious cult called "Free the Soul". Devout enough to be willing to blow himself up and die in the pursuit of his religion's goals, so it might count? He sure considers himself religious, even if the person he worships isn't technically a god.

Explain Why They Qualify: Religious Paladin. He is a follower of a warrior goddess named Halone (AKA "The Fury"). Even if his faith has been shaken by Norfinbury he still believes in his goddess, he is just not always sure she believes in him. Paladins of the FFXIV universe can use some basic holy magic and the warriors of The Holy See of Ishgard, Haurchefant's land, are particularly faith-based.
